Course Description

Are you interested in learning how Lean Six Sigma – a proven methodology for process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency increase – could benefit your company? Would you like to explore its potential applications in your organization? The course will provide you in only one day a detailed overview of the methodology and of its essential aspects. It is designed as a gateway to the Lean Six Sigma world for business, production and quality managers who want to gain knowledge on the applicability of the methodology in their context.

What Are You Going to Learn?

The course starts by introducing the fundamentals of Lean Management and of the Six Sigma methodology, highlighting how their combination in a structured, project-oriented approach – organized into five key steps (DMAIC: Define - Measure - Analyse - Improve - Control) – helps achieve improvement objectives efficiently. You will then get an overview of the appropriate Lean Six Sigma tools for each phase. The course focuses on the simplest yet highly effective tools, demonstrating their application through real-world examples from successful projects. Practical exercises will also allow you to apply these tools to practical cases. Finally, you will discover how to effectively implement the Lean Six Sigma methodology within a company, addressing in particular the key project management and organizational factors that drive success.
