AICOS Technologies offers specialized software products as well as training and consulting services that are tailored to the needs of the process industry (from pharmaceuticals to food over biotechnology and chemistry). The company philosophy consists in making the use of software tools, as well the comprehension of the results in case of services, as easy as possible for our customers.
As experts in industrial statistics, Six Sigma and production logistics, we help you to solve easily your practical problems in the areas of Quality Engineering (incl. Design of Experiments - DoE), Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and Production Planning and Simulation. We offer software solutions, applied courses and consulting on all these topics.
Providing Quality since 1997
After the announcement in March 1996 by the two large chemical and pharmaceutical companies Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz of their intention to merge and form a new company, Novartis, it soon became clear that some departments would be “outsourced”. The so-called Novartis Venture Fund was created to help the creation of small high-tech companies in the process of the merger.
AICOS Technologies AG is one of them, and its founders are former Ciba-Geigy collaborators with a wide in-depth understanding of the needs of industrial scientists, engineers, technicians and researchers in applying mathematical methods to solve industry-specific problems.
The company was founded on January 7, 1997, and has a share capital of CHF 100.000.-. Most of it is held by Philippe Solot and Linus Willmann.
